About Yatta!

Yatta! (やった! — “I did it!”) helps learners study for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). The name is the goal: we want you to hit that やった! moment when something finally clicks — and then again on results day.

What we do

What makes us different

Most JLPT sites give you a flat list and a pile of questions. Yatta is built on a connected ontology of Japanese — every grammar point is linked to its prerequisites, its confusable look-alikes, and the patterns it grows into. That structure is what powers the diagnosis: instead of just a score, you find out the upstream cause of a mistake, so you can fix one foundation and watch several things fall into place. Our commitment to accuracy

Accuracy is the whole point. Every guide carries a visible “last updated” date and a named author, our examples are written and curated by us, and our practice questions are generated from our own data rather than copied from past exams. We review content across each category and revise pages as we spot improvements or receive corrections. If you find a mistake, please tell us — see the contact page. Reader corrections are genuinely welcome and help keep the site trustworthy.
