This is a timed mini mock exam for JLPT N3. It mixes the written question types in real exam style so you can rehearse the experience that matters most: making good decisions under the clock. You have 20 minutes for 40 questions across two sections.
How to use it
Work at exam pace — don't linger on a hard item; pick your best guess, move on, and come back if time allows. When you submit (or the timer runs out), you'll get a section-by-section breakdown and a link to the guide for every point you missed, so the test doubles as a study plan.
A note on what's included: this mini mock covers 文字・語彙 (vocabulary), 文法 (grammar) and 読解 (reading). The listening (聴解) section is coming as those question types are added. Scoring here is a simple percentage — the real JLPT uses scaled scoring with a sectional minimum, which we explain in the JLPT overview.
What to expect at N3
At N3, the grammar becomes about nuance and register (〜わけ, 〜ように, keigo), and the vocabulary turns abstract — this is the level where reading speed starts to decide your score.
